Donations in Cash or Kind
It couldn't be easier to donate to Lost Chord. We have teamed up with Virgin Money Giving and follow the instructions
We really appreciate those of you who give regularly, whether it is making a donation when invited to an event you are unable to attend, a little extra when posting us a cheque for an event or so much appreciated- regular standing orders.
Gift aid
Since establishing the Gift Aid scheme, we have had a wonderful response from the general public. Simply ticking the Gift Aid box means we can claim back the tax you have already paid on that donation at no cost to you, which increases the value of your gift by an additional 28p in each pound. Last year, reclaiming Gift Aid alone helped us fund more concerts. Helena and the Trustees would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved.
In kind donations
We hold a range of fundraising events throughout the year and are always on the lookout for any raffle or auction prizes- large or small. So whether you could auction a week in a cottage, vouchers, tickets, signed items, a meal for two or simply a bottle of wine, we would be delighted to take any such items off your hands as a means of raising vital funds for our work. Simply contact the Lost Chord office for auctionable items, or bring your raffle item to one of our popular Ladies Luncheons.
In the past, valued donations have been received from:
- The James Neil Trust
- The Diana & Gerard Young Trust
- Marjorie Coots Old Peoples Fund
- Mary Hattersley Memorial Home
- Hugh and Ruby Sykes Fund
On-line donations
To make donating even simplier we have set up an on-line facility with Virgin Money Giving. We really do appreciate any amount you feel you are able to donate.
Thank you!
