Please would your school consider raising between £200 - £450 and make a significant difference to our appeal to help the forgotten and the elderly in your neighbourhood?

We are hoping to get the support of as many primary and secondary schools as possible as we want all school aged children to know about dementia and how it affects the lives of those living with it. With over 700,000 people in the UK diagnosed with this disease you probably have pupils and staff in your school whose lives are already affected as they may have relatives who struggle to live with this illness.

Fundraising ideas:

Adopt Lost Chord as your charity of the year in 2011 or 2012

Organise a non uniform day
Put on a concert
Wash staff cars at lunchtime
Ask the teachers to take part in one of our challenge events and sponsor them. (click to challenge event page)

Come up with your own enterprising ideas
