Advisory Committee
In addition to the Board of Trustees Lost Chord has an Advisory Committee which meets quarterly and has representatives from Health, Social Services, Age Concern, Alzheimer’s Society, Mental Health and managers in the both private and statutory sector.
It was also decided to consult with the care homes themselves in order to find a suitable client representative who would be accompanied to the meetings by a carer.
An additional representative has been selected to represent the volunteers. This position will be rotated on an annual basis.
Lost Chord appreciates consultation is all important when providing any service in the community.
